Vijay Singh became the second-oldest player to win on the PGA Tour Champions on Sunday when the 63-year-old Fijian closed with a 3-under 69 for a two-shot victory in the SAS Championship.

Vijay Singh claimed a two-shot victory over Ernie Els at the SAS Championship in Cary, North Carolina, closing with a 3-under 69. At 63 years old, the Fijian golfer became the second-oldest winner in PGA Tour Champions history, trailing only Bernhard Langer. Singh pulled ahead with four birdies across a six-hole stretch around the turn before finishing with six consecutive pars to secure the title.
The win marks Singh's sixth career PGA Tour Champions title and his first victory in just over three years. Els finished as runner-up with a final-round 69, while contender Tim O'Neal fell out of contention following a late double-bogey on the 17th hole. Additionally, Matthew Goggin was the sole player to play his way into the top 72 for the upcoming Charles Schwab Cup postseason.
