Documentary on Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso’s F1 rivalry reportedly in the works

The BBC is reportedly preparing a documentary focused on the intense rivalry between Formula 1 drivers Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso during the 2007 McLaren season. According to former Spanish F1 commentator Antonio Lobato, the British broadcaster invited him to take part, though he turned down the opportunity. The BBC has not yet officially confirmed the production of the documentary.

Lobato stated that other journalists who covered the dramatic 2007 championship will participate in the project. That season saw Hamilton make his debut alongside reigning two-time world champion Alonso, culminating in intense internal strife, the Spygate scandal, and both drivers finishing tied on 109 points as Kimi Raikkonen clinched the title.
