The New Orleans Saints entered Week 6 with a clear message from their ownership: Win or changes could come.
The New Orleans Saints responded to pressure from owner Gayle Benson by defeating the New York Giants 34-27 on Sunday. Benson had publicly challenged head coach Kellen Moore following a 1-4 start to the season. After falling behind 10-0, New Orleans produced a 34-point scoring surge to take control before withstanding a late fourth-quarter comeback attempt by the Giants.
Quarterback Tyler Shough threw three touchdowns without a turnover, while the Saints' ground game contributed 175 yards. Running back Alvin Kamara caught a touchdown pass and surpassed 5,000 career rushing and receiving yards. The defense recorded five sacks, including one by Chase Young, as New Orleans improved ahead of their Week 7 matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Paris.
