Mikel Arteta hit back at suggestions that his team had lost momentum following Arsenal’s hard-fought 1-0 win over Nottingham Forest.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta dismissed claims that his squad lost momentum, pointing out they have won 10 of their first 11 games across all competitions. Arteta made the remarks after Arsenal defeated Nottingham Forest 1-0 in the Premier League on Sunday. The Gunners' only defeat of the campaign came against Brighton & Hove Albion before the international break, but the club has since responded with three consecutive victories.
Reflecting on the hard-fought match against Forest, Arteta commended the opponents' defensive organization and stressed the need for patience. Noni Madueke scored the decisive goal 10 minutes from full-time to secure the points. The result leaves Arsenal in second place, three points behind leaders Manchester City, as they prepare for an upcoming Champions League fixture away against Bayern Munich.
