Frank Martin Wants Shakur Stevenson Or Tank Rematch

Light welterweight contender Frank Martin has called for high-profile bouts against Shakur Stevenson, Gervonta Davis, or Isaac Cruz. Speaking to Fight Hub TV, the 31-year-old expressed a strong desire for a rematch with Davis, citing past weight issues during their 2024 encounter, while also viewing Cruz or Lamont Roach as potential stepping stones.

Boxing News 24 argues that Martin lacks the leverage for marquee bouts due to inactivity and recent lackluster performances, including a draw against Nahir Albright. The outlet suggests Martin must focus on staying active, beginning with his upcoming October 24 bout against Tarik Zaina, rather than chasing fights against elite champions who currently lack incentive to face him.
