The second-year linebacker is producing at a historic pace, yet Tampa Bay's head coach continues limiting his opportunities.

Following the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' 26-19 overtime loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, writer JR Garner questions why head coach Todd Bowles is not giving second-year outside linebacker David Walker more playing time. Garner argues that Walker has been a rare bright spot for the 1-5 Buccaneers and deserves an expanded role in the defense.
Walker has recorded four sacks in his first six games, the most by a Buccaneers player in 30 years over that span. Garner argues that Bowles must adjust defensive rotations to reward Walker's pass-rushing production and help prevent further late-game collapses.
