Noni Madueke shows true colours after win as two Arsenal stars labelled ‘best in world’

Substitute Noni Madueke scored an 80th-minute winner via a deflection off Jair Cunha to earn Arsenal a 1-0 victory at Nottingham Forest. Madueke shied away from the post-match limelight before teammate Declan Rice ushered him forward to applaud the supporters. Opposition manager Oliver Glasner praised Arsenal's central defense, describing Ezri Konsa and Gabriel Magalhaes as possibly the best centre-back pairing in world football.

Mikel Arteta's side secured their sixth win in seven Premier League matches despite registering only one shot on target throughout the contest. Eberechi Eze was replaced by Madueke at half-time after failing to make an impact during his first league start of the season. The victory marked Arsenal's tenth win in eleven matches across all competitions ahead of their upcoming Champions League trip to Bayern Munich.
