Celtic and Hearts fans clash outside stadium in mass brawl before league match

Rival Celtic and Hearts supporters clashed in a violent brawl outside Celtic Park along London Road before their league match. Video footage shared online captured fans exchanging punches, throwing crowd-control metal gates, and hurling glass bottles as Hearts fans moved toward the away end. Broadcaster Martin Geissler also criticized a section of the traveling Hearts support on social media for chanting offensive songs during the fixture.

On the pitch, Celtic secured a dominant 7-1 victory over Hearts. Early goals from Kieran Tierney and Benjamin Nygren set the tone, followed by a Callum Osmand brace and a deflected strike off Jamie McCart before the break. Despite a consolation goal from Hearts player Laurent Mendy, second-half finishes from Camilo Duran and Nygren wrapped up the comprehensive win.
