Dricus Du Plessis is ready for the next chapter of his career, and it involves winning UFC belts in two different weight classes. Du Plessis won the middleweight belt off Sean Strickland back in January 2024 and defended it twice…

Former UFC middleweight champion Dricus Du Plessis revealed ambitions to reclaim his 185-pound belt and eventually move up to 205 pounds to become a two-division champion. Du Plessis stated that he currently cuts 45 pounds or more outside of training camp to reach the middleweight limit, but expressed confidence that he has the size and ability to win the light heavyweight title.
Du Plessis bounced back from losing his belt to Khamzat Chimaev by earning a victory over Kamaru Usman in July. After recovering from minor injuries sustained in that contest, Du Plessis affirmed that he is ready to face top contenders to work his way back to championship status.
