In the 2009 NLCS, Jimmy Rollins delivered one of the Phillies' greatest walk-off hits in franchise history.

On October 19, 2009, Jimmy Rollins hit a memorable walk-off two-run double with two outs in the bottom of the ninth inning, lifting the Philadelphia Phillies to a 5-4 victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers in Game 4 of the NLCS. Rollins drove in Eric Bruntlett and Carlos Ruiz off Dodgers reliever Jonathan Broxton to secure a 3-1 series lead.
The hit stood as only the third postseason walk-off in Phillies history at the time, and their first since Kim Batiste in 1993. Rollins' clutch double swung the momentum decisively, enabling Philadelphia to capture the National League pennant two days later with a 10-4 blowout in Game 5 behind an early Jayson Werth home run.
