Former West Ham United assistant Paco Jémez has expressed his strong belief that manager Nuno Espírito Santo will lead the club back to the Premier League. Speaking to Portuguese outlet O Jogo, Jémez praised Nuno's dedication and hard work following the Hammers' relegation to the Championship, while also playing down a touchline disagreement between the two during their time together in London.
Jémez originally joined West Ham's coaching staff in January to assist his former Deportivo La Coruña teammate, but the team finished 18th and was relegated. During a 3-1 win over Sunderland, the pair had a visible sideline dispute over a substitution, though Jémez clarified that their relationship remains great and that he respected Nuno's authority as head coach before departing for Raja Casablanca in August.
