Wild head coach John Hynes believes Danila Yurov will be a top-six center in the NHL. With three goals in four games and trade rumors swirling, his emergence presents Minnesota with an interesting decision.
Minnesota Wild head coach John Hynes praised 22-year-old center Danila Yurov, stating he has the potential to develop into a top-two line center for the organization. Yurov scored a goal in Minnesota's 2-1 victory over the Columbus Blue Jackets on Sunday, helping the Central Division-leading Wild improve their record to 6-2-1.
Yurov has enjoyed a productive start to the season, recording four goals and five points across his first nine games. Alongside Yurov's contribution, teammate Kirill Kaprizov scored a power-play game-winner to reach 10 goals on the year, while goaltender Jesper Wallstedt made 13 saves to keep the Wild undefeated at home.
