Robinson could be thrust straight into action when Derby face his former club Sheffield United on Saturday (12:30pm) if he can prove his fitness on the training ground at Moor Farm

Derby County manager John Eustace has provided a fitness update on new signing Jack Robinson as the club battles a major defensive injury crisis. The 33-year-old defender joined the Rams on a short-term deal on Saturday and could make his debut against former club Sheffield United if he proves his fitness in training this week.
Derby signed Robinson after being reduced to just one fit center-back, Dion Sanderson, alongside injuries to several key defenders and goalkeeper Jacob Widell Zetterstrom. Robinson completed pre-season with Birmingham City before departing in September, leaving Eustace focused on building up his match fitness rapidly.
