Celtic turned on the style to humiliate Hearts after Rangers failed to take the chance to move to the top of the Scottish Premiership.

Celtic routed title rivals Hearts 7-1 to establish a four-point lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership following Rangers' 2-2 draw at Dundee. Forwards Benjamin Nygren, Callum Osmand, and Camilo Duran all scored for Celtic as the hosts led 5-0 by half-time. Meanwhile, Rangers conceded a late equalizer following a defensive mistake, missing an opportunity to move atop the league table.
Hibernian slipped to the bottom of the table after a 2-1 defeat against Falkirk, leaving new manager Marink Reedijk with consecutive losses. Elsewhere across the Premiership, Kilmarnock defeated Motherwell 3-2, Aberdeen claimed a 3-1 win over St Mirren, and St Johnstone earned a 1-0 victory against Dundee United, leaving Motherwell and St Mirren on five-game losing runs.
