  • Hibernian dropped to the bottom of the table following a 2-1 home defeat to Falkirk.
The Story in 60 Seconds

Celtic extended their Scottish Premiership lead to four points with a dominant 7-1 victory over title rivals Hearts. Front-three starters Benjamin Nygren, Callum Osmand, and Camilo Duran all scored after Celtic built a 5-0 lead by half-time. Meanwhile, Rangers missed the chance to go top following a 2-2 draw at Dundee, and Hibernian fell to the bottom of the table after losing 2-1 to Falkirk.

Alison Conroy highlights mounting trouble across the league, noting that back-to-back losses leave new Hibernian manager Marink Reedijk winless in six league outings. Elsewhere, Motherwell fell 3-2 against Kilmarnock and St Mirren lost 3-1 to Aberdeen, leaving both clubs on five-game losing streaks and dangerously close to the relegation places.
