Inbox: He’ll be better for what happened

Mike Spofford reflects on Green Bay's Week 6 victory over the Dallas Cowboys, addressing wide receiver Matthew Golden's rollercoaster performance. Despite Golden dropping three passes—including two potential touchdowns—Spofford notes that quarterback Jordan Love maintained trust in the receiver, arguing that Golden has what it takes to be a star and will emerge better from the adversity.

Spofford also evaluates Green Bay's aggressive defensive strategy against Dak Prescott, praising coordinator Jonathan Gannon's pressure packages, sound open-field tackling, and Evan Williams' tone-setting interception. Additionally, Spofford addresses concerns surrounding the Packers' struggling ground game, roughing the passer penalties, and the ongoing need for offensive consistency.
