Manchester City manager Enzo Maresca spoke about Erling Haaland and other attacking options for the team

Manchester City manager Enzo Maresca emphasized that Erling Haaland remains his primary starting striker despite fitness concerns ahead of Tuesday's Champions League match against AEK Athens. Although Haaland was seen limping and is considered a doubt, Maresca reaffirmed his commitment to the forward as his preferred option to lead the attack.
City faces attacking depth constraints with Antoine Semenyo ruled out for eight weeks due to injury and Omar Marmoush currently on loan at Tottenham. While Maresca acknowledged that Phil Foden could serve as a solution alongside alternatives like Iliman Ndiaye, Rayan Cherki, and Floyd Samba, he maintained that Haaland is still the team's undisputed number nine.
