USMNT players in France had a strong week overall

USMNT players delivered strong performances across Ligue 1 match day 7, highlighted by Gio Reyna, Tim Weah, and Tanner Tessmann contributing to goals. Reyna scored the opening goal for Strasbourg in a 3-1 loss to PSG, while Tessmann headed home Lyon's decisive goal in a 2-1 victory. Meanwhile, Weah recorded two assists and was defensively solid as Marseille claimed a 5-2 win over Angers.
Other Americans in France had mixed results. Mark McKenzie completed 11 clearances in Toulouse's 3-0 win against Le Mans, while Bryan Reynolds started at right back in Rennes' 4-3 defeat to Paris FC. Folarin Balogun played 24 minutes off the bench for Monaco, with Matthew Badger noting that the forward appears out of favor and likely to transfer in January.
