After torching the AHL with nine points in six games, Winnipeg’s top prospect returns to the NHL to ignite a struggling offense desperate for elite scoring depth.

The Winnipeg Jets recalled 21-year-old forward Brayden Yager from the AHL's Manitoba Moose on Monday. The 2023 14th overall draft pick earned the promotion after recording five goals and four assists for nine points in his first six games this season.
Yager, who appeared in three NHL games at the end of last season, joins a Jets offense that has averaged 2.88 goals across its first eight games. Winnipeg is currently on a two-game road trip facing the St. Louis Blues and Dallas Stars.
