Tobias Harris was the Spurs’ primary free agent addition over the summer, but the veteran forward will be sidelined for Tuesday’s regular season opener in Oklahoma City as he continues to recover from a left calf strain, writes Tom Orsborn…

San Antonio Spurs forward Tobias Harris will miss Tuesday's regular season opener against Oklahoma City due to a left calf strain. Head coach Mitch Johnson announced after Monday's practice that Harris is progressing well in his recovery but still requires further on-court work before returning.
Harris sustained the injury early in training camp and was sidelined for all five preseason contests. The 34-year-old veteran joined San Antonio in July after agreeing to a two-year, $30.8 million contract following two seasons with the Detroit Pistons.
