There are high hopes for Luke Graham at Stoke City

Stoke City manager Mark Robins praised 22-year-old Luke Graham after the defender headed in the winning goal against Derby County. Graham, who joined Stoke from Dundee in July, became the club's 12th different goalscorer across eight games. Robins commended the youngster's defensive display and noted that getting his first goal will provide significant belief as he adapts to the Championship.
Robins also highlighted unseen structural changes behind the scenes, particularly regarding the sports science and medical department led by Damian Roden. Appointed during the summer to address past injury issues, Roden's updated fitness regimen is expected by Robins to increasingly bear fruit as the squad develops both physically and mentally throughout the season.
