Phil Parkinson was delighted to see Wrexham rediscover the attacking intent and goalmouth threat that supporters have come to expect.
Wrexham manager Phil Parkinson expressed satisfaction after his side rediscovered their attacking intent and goal threat in a 4-1 Championship victory over Preston North End. The win on Saturday followed a 2-1 loss to West Brom, lifting the Reds to 14th place in the table. Summer signings Joe Worrall and Ben Whiteman each scored their first goals for the club in the first half, while Kieffer Moore and Sam Smith added second-half goals.
Parkinson emphasized that supporters expect persistent goalmouth action and high-impact play in the opposition penalty area, regardless of injuries. He also praised Wrexham's set-piece execution, noting that three of the four goals against Preston came from dead-ball situations to overcome Graham Alexander's side.
