David Benavidez Plans His Own Promotional Company

David Benavidez has announced plans to launch his own promotional company, DB Promotions, following the conclusion of his contract with Sampson Lewkowicz in December. Benavidez confirmed to Brian Custer that his upcoming December bout marks the end of his 10-year deal with Lewkowicz, which he has fully honored. The boxer stated that DB Promotions will become his primary banner early next year, though he intends to keep working alongside Al Haymon and TGB Promotions.

While stepping out independently gives Benavidez more control over the business side of his career, financial details and equity splits remain unstated. In addition to headlining his own bouts, Benavidez expressed interest in signing prospects who train alongside him and his father, Jose Benavidez Sr., to build a long-term stable.
