Denver Broncos coach Sean Payton says that he has not considered a quarterback change despite Bo Nix's struggles. Payton parried a question about the QB position during his media availability Monday.
Denver Broncos head coach Sean Payton confirmed on Monday that he has not considered making a quarterback change despite Bo Nix's recent struggles. Nix passed for just 107 yards on 17-of-27 passing during Denver's 17-14 overtime victory against the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday.
Payton took responsibility for the lack of downfield passing against Seattle's zone defense after taking over play-calling duties from Davis Webb in Week 5. Despite managing only 168 yards of offense on Thursday, the Broncos sit at 4-2 ahead of their upcoming game against the Arizona Cardinals.
