Manchester City face AEK Athens in the Champions League on Tuesday with question marks surrounding several players

Alex James predicts Manchester City's starting lineup against AEK Athens, expecting Erling Haaland to be rested after limping off against Ipswich. With Antoine Semenyo sidelined for eight weeks, James suggests Phil Foden could start as a false nine. Rayan Cherki is also tipped to enter the starting attack alongside Jeremy Doku and Iliman Ndiaye after being rested at the weekend.
In midfield and defense, Enzo Fernandez and Elliot Anderson are predicted to return to the starting XI under Enzo Maresca. Josko Gvardiol and Abdukodir Khusanov are projected to fill the full-back spots, while Ruben Dias, Marc Guehi, and Gianluigi Donnarumma look set to retain their defensive places.
