This could be an exciting move.
Liverpool head coach Andoni Iraola has reportedly requested the permanent signing of Barcelona midfielder Fermin Lopez. According to a report from Spanish outlet El Nacional, Barcelona would demand a fee of around €140 million to allow the Spanish international to move to Anfield.
The report claims Iraola has grown frustrated with Florian Wirtz and believes Lopez would adapt more effectively to the Premier League. Writer Bence Bocsak questions the potential move, arguing that sporting director Julian Ward should pursue smarter recruitment rather than spending another massive sum to replace an expensive signing.
