The Story in 60 Seconds

Kirill Marchenko is set to return to Columbus on Tuesday night as the Toronto Maple Leafs face the Blue Jackets. The forward was acquired by Toronto in a late-September six-player trade before signing a six-year, $75 million contract extension with the club. Marchenko has recorded four goals and six assists through his first 10 games with the Maple Leafs, who are aiming to win back-to-back games following Monday's 3-1 victory against San Jose.

Columbus enters the contest having dropped three of its last four games, including a 2-1 loss to the Minnesota Wild on Sunday. Former Maple Leaf Matthew Knies, who arrived in Columbus as part of the Marchenko swap, has tallied two goals and two assists this season. Toronto coach Jim Hiller announced that backup goaltender Anthony Stolarz will start in net to finish the back-to-back set.
