Manchester United delivered a more cohesive performance in a changed formation but were held to a 1-1 draw by Leeds as pressure on Michael Carrick continues to grow.

Manchester United were held to a 1-1 draw by Leeds United at Elland Road on Sunday, leaving Michael Carrick's side searching for their second Premier League victory of the season. Bryan Mbeumo gave United the lead in the 35th minute after combining with Youri Tielemans, but Dominic Calvert-Lewin leveled for Daniel Farke's side six minutes into the second half from a corner.
The result leaves Manchester United with just one win from their opening seven league matches, marking their lowest victory total at this stage since the 1986-87 campaign. Carrick implemented a changed formation following a difficult week that included a defeat to Atletico Madrid, while defender Harry Maguire noted post-match that the squad still lacked bravery in possession.
