Arsenal are optimistic that midfielder Declan Rice will sign a new contract soon as negotiations reach their final stages, according to Fabrizio Romano. Rice's current deal runs until 2028, and talks have been ongoing since March. According to reporting from Sami Mokbel, Rice is expected to receive a major wage increase from his current £240,000-a-week deal to around £350,000-a-week under the permanent contract extension.
