The Falcons have lost two straight games heading into Sunday's matchup against the Niners and former head coach Raheem Morris.

Atlanta Falcons rookie linebacker Kendal Daniels was present at the team's practice facility on Monday following a neck injury suffered against the Chicago Bears. Daniels was taken off the field on a stretcher during Atlanta's 31-23 loss, but head coach Kevin Stefanski provided positive updates and did not rule him out for Sunday's matchup against the San Francisco 49ers.
The defeat dropped the Falcons to 2-4 as quarterback Michael Penix Jr. was sacked a career-high five times amid heavy blitz pressure. Rookie returner Zachariah Branch also committed two costly fumbles, while Atlanta struggled on fourth down, going 0-for-3 in the contest.
