The Cleveland Browns clearly need an offensive upgrade. Adding a big name--how about Saquon Barkley?--is within their reach.

A proposal from SB Nation's Dawgs By Nature suggests the Cleveland Browns could target Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley ahead of the NFL trade deadline. With Cleveland's offense struggling and ranking 26th in yards per carry, the hypothetical deal aims to add an elite playmaker to complement the team's strong defense.
Analyst Jared Mueller notes the Eagles are struggling and Barkley has just $2.5 million guaranteed remaining on his contract. Cleveland holds 11 picks in next year's draft, potentially giving them the capital needed to acquire the veteran running back to upgrade their backfield.
