With the way things are going, Frank Reich is unlikely to last more than one year with the New York Jets. Would Aaron Glenn be allowed to hire a third OC?

New York Jets head coach Aaron Glenn publicly backed offensive coordinator Frank Reich despite ongoing struggles with the offense during the 2026 NFL season. Reich, hired this past offseason to replace Tanner Engstrand, has faced criticism as the team's rushing attack dropped from 10th to 23rd in the league.
The Jet Press writer Charlie Baduini argues that Glenn would be unlikely to survive another offensive coordinator change if the team parts with Reich after the season. Baduini suggests that owner Woody Johnson could instead seek an offensive-minded head coach for 2027.
