The Las Vegas Raiders have released former New York Giants offensive tackle Evan Neal from their practice squad. Neal, selected seventh overall in the 2022 NFL Draft, joined Las Vegas on September 4 following his release by the Giants at the end of the preseason, but he did not make any game appearances for the Raiders.
Neal struggled with injuries throughout his career, participating in only 29 of 51 potential regular-season games across his initial three seasons and missing all of last year. Additionally, the Raiders parted ways with tight end Chris Myarick, while the Giants hosted defensive linemen Taki Taimani and Jamheer Carter for workouts.
