Fans are not facing ticket allocations being cut despite fears from fan groups…

Newcastle United sources have confirmed that the away ticket allocation for visiting Sunderland supporters will not be reduced and remains unchanged from last season. Sunderland had previously stated that their allocation would be 2,200 tickets for the upcoming Tyne-Wear derby scheduled for Sunday, December 6, 2026, at St James' Park.
The fixture has been designated a "bubble fixture" by Newcastle's Safety Advisory Group, Newcastle City Council, and Northumbria Police. As a result, visiting Sunderland supporters will be required to travel via official organized coaches rather than making independent travel arrangements, a decision that Sunderland and fan group Wor Flags have criticized.
