Who’s your all Phillies alumni coaching staff?

Following the Philadelphia Phillies' promotion of Don Mattingly to manager, writer Joe Edinger invited fans to assemble their hypothetical coaching staffs comprised entirely of franchise alumni. The discussion was prompted by a report from The Athletic's Jayson Stark stating that the club previously approached former players Raúl Ibañez and Chase Utley regarding the open managerial vacancy before both individuals declined the overtures.

Edinger suggested that the inquiry to Utley may have served to place the former star's name into future managerial cycles. Proposing his own alumni staff, the writer selected Chase Utley as manager, Cole Hamels as pitching coach, John Kruk as hitting coach, and Jimmy Rollins alongside Shane Victorino as base coaches.
