The Eagles’ offense hasn’t cracked 250 yards in a game during the slide, and the deeper numbers somehow look worse. The Philadelphia Eagles’ offense is broken.
The Philadelphia Eagles' offense has reached historic lows during a four-game losing streak, failing to surpass 250 total yards in any of those games. Following a 25-14 loss to the Carolina Panthers, A to Z Sports argues that the unit is broken, noting a minus-723-yard differential over the four-game span and a 31.3% second-half offensive success rate that ranks worse than the 2010 Panthers.
According to the analysis, this offense is the worst Eagles unit through Week 6 since 2000 in both EPA per drive and success rate. Against Carolina, five under-center play-action dropbacks resulted in zero completions, minus-17 yards, and two sacks, leading the writer to argue that systemic play-calling and adjustment failures are plaguing the team.
