Roma manager Gian Piero Gasperini will be without five key first-team players for Saturday's Serie A fixture against Genoa. Mile Svilar, Bryan Cristante, Manu Koné, and Paulo Dybala are sidelined with injuries, while forward Donyell Malen is suspended following his two-goal performance in Wednesday's Champions League defeat to Real Madrid. Gasperini has called up several Primavera youth players to complete the matchday squad.
Roma enter the match unbeaten in Serie A, sitting third in the standings with 14 points through six matches. Genoa, currently in 17th place with four points, are managed by former Roma captain and coach Daniele De Rossi, who returns to the Stadio Olimpico as an opponent.
