PSG are without their first-choice left-back for Barcelona showdown…
Former Paris Saint-Germain player and manager Michel Larque has warned Luis Enrique that starting Lucas Digne against Barcelona in the Champions League would be "tactical suicide." PSG face their Spanish opponents at the Parc des Princes without first-choice left-back Nuno Mendes, who was sidelined by a thigh injury suffered during a 3-1 win over Strasbourg.
Larque expressed concern on RMC radio about Digne matching up against winger Lamine Yamal, noting Digne previously struggled against him at the World Cup. Instead of starting Digne or Lucas Hernandez, Larque suggested deploying midfielder Warren Zaire-Emery at left-back to better contain Yamal's speed and physical threat.
