Carlton Cole has heard that Mohamadou Kante will soon be rewarded with a new contract at West Ham United after assisting Divine Mukasa’s winner away…
West Ham United's Loans and Pathways Manager Carlton Cole revealed that young midfielder Mohamadou Kante is expected to sign a new contract soon. The revelation follows Kante's assist for Divine Mukasa's winning goal in West Ham's 1-0 Championship victory over Swansea City on Saturday, which reduced the gap between the two sides to a single point.
Speaking on the Dressing Room Podcast, Cole praised the 21-year-old Frenchman, who was signed from Paris FC in 2024 for £400,000. Kante previously signed an extension through 2031 and has registered four goal contributions across his last five Championship appearances under manager Nuno.
