The Atlanta Hawks have officially announced a new broadcast partnership with Amazon Prime for the upcoming NBA season. Under the agreement, in-market fans will be able to stream local Hawks games exclusively on Prime Video at no additional charge with an active Prime membership. The franchise's local broadcast schedule begins with a matchup against the Orlando Magic.
Out-of-market viewers will continue to have access to Hawks games through an NBA League Pass subscription. SportsTalk ATL notes this transition offers local supporters a more accessible alternative to past coverage on Bally Sports, which faced widespread distribution issues, as well as the standalone subscription required for Braves TV.
