The New York Giants need offensive line help, and the Colts’ recent collapse could make a Quenton Nelson trade worth exploring.

Matt Sidney of GMEN HQ argues that the New York Giants should pursue Indianapolis Colts guard Quenton Nelson before the November 10 trade deadline. With Indianapolis sitting at 2-4 and firing general manager Chris Ballard, Sidney believes the Giants must aggressively target the veteran offensive lineman to replace struggling guard Jon Runyan and capitalize on an open NFC East race.
Nelson is currently in the final year of a four-year, $80 million contract. Sidney suggests general manager Joe Schoen and head coach John Harbaugh could offer a future Day 2 draft pick to bolster a New York rushing attack that has averaged only 3.8 yards per carry through six weeks.
