Welcome to the 2026 edition of Ranking the Rockies, where we take a look back at every player to log playing time for the Rockies in 2026. The purpose of this list is to provide a snapshot of the player…

Purple Row ranked Colorado Rockies right-handed pitcher Blake Adams at No. 39 in its 2026 player review series following his -0.2 rWAR campaign. Adams earned his MLB debut in late August 2026 after Kyle Freeland was placed on the injured list. However, Adams struggled heavily in his lone major league outing, surrendering five earned runs on five hits across one inning of work during a 13-3 loss to the Washington Nationals.
Zeke Perez Jr. argues that Adams projects primarily as organizational depth rather than a long-term major league arm. Adams posted a 7.48 ERA across 61.1 innings for Triple-A Albuquerque in 2026, continuing a trend where his earned run average increased at each ascending level of the minor leagues.
