Red Wings vs. Kraken: Notes, Lines, Goalies, How to Watch

The Detroit Red Wings kick off a five-game road trip against the Seattle Kraken at Climate Pledge Arena on October 20, 2026. Seattle previously beat Detroit 6-3 at Little Caesars Arena last week, entering the contest third in the Pacific Division while Detroit remains two points outside an Eastern Conference wildcard spot. Goaltender Daniil Tarasov is slated to start for the Red Wings, with Philipp Grubauer expected to start for Seattle.

Detroit forward Alex DeBrincat enters the matchup needing just one goal to reach 300 career NHL goals. The Red Wings are managing injuries to Marco Kasper, Mason Appleton, and JT Compher, while Seattle contends with absences including Brandon Montour and Ryan Lindgren.
