Former Everton striker Louis Saha believes the club represents a great investment opportunity but questioned the timing of The Friedkin Group exploring new investment. The Friedkin Group announced earlier in the month that it is considering various options, including potentially selling a controlling interest in the Premier League side, appointing Moelis & Company as advisors.
The strategic review arrives under two years after The Friedkin Group finalized its takeover from Farhad Moshiri in December 2024. While Saha expressed surprise given the club's trajectory and relocation to Hill Dickinson Stadium, the owners maintain they are evaluating options to support the club's next chapter.
