PSG-Barça, the problems are piling up!
Key Things to Know
  • Paris Saint-Germain and FC Barcelona are both dealing with major injury concerns ahead of their Champions League clash.
  • PSG defender Nuno Mendes is out for several weeks with a thigh injury, while Maghnes Akliouche remains uncertain.
  • Barcelona right-backs Jules Koundé and Eric Garcia are both ruled out of the trip to Paris with injuries.
The Story in 60 Seconds

Both Paris Saint-Germain and FC Barcelona are facing an injury crisis ahead of their upcoming Champions League matchday three encounter. PSG full-back Nuno Mendes suffered a thigh injury that will sideline him for several weeks, while winger Maghnes Akliouche remains uncertain due to an ankle problem alongside the long-term absence of Senny Mayulu.

Barcelona manager Hansi Flick will be without both of his regular right-backs, Eric Garcia and Jules Koundé. Garcia faces three to four weeks out with a thigh injury, and Koundé is sidelined by an ankle sprain, which means Joao Cancelo is expected to start at the Parc des Princes alongside youngster Xavi Espart.
