Ward helped the Titans earn a 26-20 win over the Indianapolis Colts that improved Tennessee to 1-5 this past Sunday.
Tennessee Titans head coach Robert Saleh urged fans not to give up on second-year quarterback Cam Ward following discussions about benching him for Mitchell Trubisky. Saleh expressed strong confidence in Ward's talent and growth to Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated after Tennessee earned a 26-20 victory against the Indianapolis Colts to improve to 1-5.
Ward threw for 102 yards with one touchdown and one interception in the win against Indianapolis. Despite ranking near the bottom of the league in passer rating and adjusted QBR through six weeks, Ward maintains the backing of Saleh and offensive coordinator Brian Daboll ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Cleveland Browns.
