The Los Angeles Rams sign veteran Brandon McManus after Blake Grupe's season-ending injury, continuing a troubling kicker carousel under Sean McVay.

The Los Angeles Rams have agreed to sign 35-year-old veteran kicker Brandon McManus, according to reports from NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo. McManus earned the roster spot after competing against Matt Prater in a Tuesday workout. The move marks Sean McVay's 14th different kicker during his coaching tenure with the franchise.
The signing follows an emergency kicking situation in which punter Ethan Evans was forced into action during an 18-16 loss to the Arizona Cardinals. Evans took over after recently signed kicker Blake Grupe suffered a torn ACL while attempting a tackle, just one week after the team had released Harrison Mevis.
