Chase Briscoe has been red-hot over the last two weeks. Were his back-to-back wins enough to move him to the top of NASCAR's contender rankings?

Chase Briscoe has cut his deficit to points leader Kyle Larson from 123 to 65 points following back-to-back victories at Las Vegas and Charlotte. FOX Sports evaluates whether the red-hot driver can mount a serious Cup title challenge with only four races remaining in the season at Phoenix, Talladega, Martinsville, and Homestead.
Larson extended his advantage over several championship rivals at Charlotte by finishing sixth, while Christopher Bell sits 51 points behind after finishing second to Briscoe. FOX Sports argues Briscoe likely needs to win two of the remaining four races to remain a genuine championship threat.
