"We’ll have to figure things out without him here for a little while, and I’m not sure how long that’ll be.”

New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel announced that the team has set no specific timeline for Romeo Doubs' return from a shoulder injury. Doubs was placed on injured reserve after hurting his shoulder during a 42-yard touchdown catch from Drake Maye in Sunday's victory over the New York Jets. While eligible to return after four games, Vrabel admitted the team faces an uncertain wait for the wide receiver's recovery.
Doubs became the third Patriots wideout placed on injured reserve this season, joining A.J. Brown and Mack Hollins. The injury leaves New England with only four healthy receivers ahead of Thursday's game against the Chicago Bears. The Patriots also face offensive line concerns, with Alijah Vera-Tucker and Ben Brown unlikely to play.
