New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel announced on Tuesday that guards Alijah Vera-Tucker and Ben Brown are unlikely to play against the Chicago Bears on Thursday. Both players suffered injuries during Sunday's victory against the New York Jets, with Vera-Tucker dealing with a hamstring issue and Brown sustaining a knee injury. Meanwhile, right tackle Morgan Moses has a chance to play through an ankle injury.
Injuries along the offensive line have heavily impacted the Patriots, with starter Mike Onwenu already sidelined for the rest of the season. Matt Fryer and Walter Rouse are in line to step up as starting guards on Thursday night, while the team also added Andrew Rupcich and Jacob Rizy to the practice squad for emergency depth.
